Casa Roseland Wins

Thank you to the Santa Rosa City Council for denying a neighbor’s appeal to the Casa Roseland affordable housing development’s earlier approval, removing the last barrier developer MidPen Housing faces to breaking ground on this great project.

Casa Roseland is a 75-unit housing community that will be part of Tierra de Rosas master plan to be developed at the former shopping center site at the intersection of Sebastopol Road and West Avenue. Casa Roseland will add to the resources and vibrancy of the neighborhood. Learn more about this exciting community project here.

Generation Housing strongly endorsed and advocated for Casa Roseland. It’s 100% affordable, has a great design driven by community input, and will serve primarily families in 2- and 3- bedroom homes. This development is transit friendly, climate friendly, and close to schools, great food, a bike path, and health care resources.

We are grateful to our cross-sector community leadership partners, First 5 Sonoma County, Santa Rosa Metro Chamber, Los Cien, and Latino Service Providers and to the 154 of you who responded to our call to send messages to the Santa Rosa City Council.
This is how we get things done — together. #WeAreGenH
