We’re thrilled to welcome Monica Ramirez as Generation Housing’s new Bilingual Civic Engagement Coordinator! Monica brings a passion for connecting people and helping community members feel informed, included, and ready to make their voices heard.
Originally from Mexico, Monica has worked with families and community members throughout Sonoma County, including through her work with La Luz Center and local arts and education programs. As a bilingual Spanish and English speaker, she’s especially excited to help make opportunities for civic engagement more accessible to Spanish-speaking communities.
Monica is studying sociology at Santa Rosa Junior College. When she’s away from work and school, you’ll find her painting, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with her family. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome!
