Dismal housing statistics aren’t just numbers — they represent real people. At our Housing Champions event at Mitote food park in Santa Rosa, a conversation with two servers validated our sense of urgency. Each had stories of friends and family members relocating to Texas. And they want to stay in Sonoma County but feel the pull of a place where life could be a little easier, and even “una mansión” is possible.
