What if supporting housing felt less like a meeting and more like gathering with friends?

Housing Heroes are volunteer hosts who bring people together for fun, informal events while introducing new people to Generation Housing’s mission. Whether it’s a backyard potluck, game night, hike, trivia contest, pickleball tournament, or something uniquely your own, you can help build community and support housing solutions in Sonoma County.

How it works:

• Host a gathering you already enjoy for 8 to 20 guests
• Towards the end, share a brief 5–10 minute intro to why housing matters
• Invite guests to learn more, get involved, become members, or support Gen H!

We’ll help make it easy!
Generation Housing will provide a Housing Heroes Toolkit with:

• Event planning resources
• Simple talking points
• Membership sign-up links and materials
• Optional staff support at your event

Housing Heroes are community members who understand that meaningful change starts with conversations and connections.

Join Generation Housing for a Screening of Fault Lines

The Bay Area’s housing crisis has reached a breaking point—rising costs, homelessness, and displacement are threatening communities across California. Join Generation Housing for a powerful screening of Fault Lines, a film that humanizes housing insecurity and sparks vital conversations on affordability and community advocacy.

The film will be followed by an insightful panel discussion featuring:

• Todd David – Political Director, Abundant SF

• Jackson Rabinowisch – Affordable Housing Development Consultant

• Karin Demarest – Panel Moderator
