Vartnaw Landing

Generation Housing proudly endorses the Vartnaw Landing development proposed at 1280 Petaluma Blvd South, Petaluma, CA.

The project consists of 79 residential units and 4 additional accessory dwelling units (ADUs). This mixed-income development features both market-rate and deed-restricted affordable homes with about 30 percent of the homes intended for moderate, and low-income households. The ADU’s will be deed restricted rentals for very low-income households. These homes combined make a considerable contribution to the City of Petaluma’s housing obligations both in terms of total and affordable homes.

Generation Housing is excited to see the project has requested a density bonus to allow for the creation of additional homes in an effort to make more efficient use of the land along with a request for reduced parking, which further aligns with Generation Housing’s efforts for a more sustainable and environmental approach to housing. The project also features a bike share system for residents, all homes will include EV charging stations, and the site improvements will include new sidewalks, a bike lane and a bus stop. The project also offers for-sale homes with a favorable and needed mix of housing types ranging from mostly townhomes, flats, condos, some single-family detached homes, a duplex, and a triplex, which will fit nicely into the surrounding neighborhood. This variety of housing types also offers a range of affordability for households at several different income levels.

Generation Housing is proud to give Vartnaw Landing our support and endorsement!
