College Creek Apartments

College Creek proposes a 164-unit multi-family residential community consisting of affordable housing units in 1, 2 and 3- bedroom for-rent apartment homes at the former site of the Sonoma County Water Agency on West College Avenue in Santa Rosa. The proposed development would include 100% deed-restricted affordable homes intended for families between 30 to 80 percent of the area median income, which aligns with Generation Housing’s efforts to have former public lands used to support affordable housing.

College Creek is in close proximity to public transit (a bus depot is located within 1/4 mile of the site, a less than 5-minute walk), the property is a good example of transit-oriented housing. The Guerneville Road SMART Station is also just two miles away, creating additional opportunities for public transit. Moreover, the project would consist of mostly family-sized units with 2 – 3 bedrooms. Lastly, the project features several amenities such an on-site community pool, community center, fitness room, children’s play area, barbecue area, a sports court, enclosed bike storage & bike repair station areas, and other amenities for future tenants.
