The development of 420 market-rate units by Lomas & Hines at the Downtown Station would have facilitated the development of 131 affordable and permanent supportive housing units at Corona Station by Danco Communities.
Hines Downtown Station would have catalyzed the development surrounding Petaluma’s existing train station and strengthen linkages between the historic downtown core and the station area. This development will help cement the viability of multifamily development, both affordable and market-rate, in a transit- oriented area with an abundance of underutilized formerly industrial land.
