414 Petaluma Blvd N

Generation Housing proudly endorsed the 414 Petaluma Blvd North Development

The 414 Petaluma’s proposed 42-unit development would provide new homes affordable to low- and very-low income families that earn between 30 and 80 percent of area median income with a 46%
average affordability level. The majority of apartments are 2-3 bedroom, which are ideal for local families. The project also includes a large share of 1-bedroom apartments available for those working proximate to a major job center like downtown Petaluma. According to the U.S. Census’ LEHD Origin-Destination Employment Statistics, this project is located within a short walk of a major job center.

The location of this project aligns with the vision behind the urban growth boundary movement that sought to curb sprawl while lifting up infill housing, especially housing located in the downtown core area. This development will provide needed housing for families in an amenity-rich area within walking distance of SMART – a major transit station. This further aligns local environmental goals with housing.
